Issues

— Overall performance is poor to average.
— The app is sloppy on vertical scrolling.
— Graph #3 is slow when filtering, scrolling and scaling.
— Bonus goal is completed, but slow on zooming in and out.

Wrong timeline (navigator) for the pie chart. It has empty space at the top for some days, but should be 100% filled always.

Thanks for the feedback, didn't have enough time to implement stacked-percentage-bar chart type as well.
- labels jiggle on slow resizing of chart view, eg "Growth" chart

- showing minimap in "Growth" zoomed-in chart

- "fruits"-charts - perfomace issues on dragging selected interval, chanding selected interval borders, unchecking lines

- night-mode doesn't change buttons colors

- page zooming allowed on mobiles

- left and right parts of a title are not on the same line

- if touch "fruits collected" in zone when tooltip should appear after touch, then it immediately zooms in

- font of axis labels is too slim

- interval and tooltip saying different days in the end of the chart, see screenshot

Thanks for the feedback!
1. Can't reproduce :(
2. Yeah, but I think it's better to have preview on this chart as well — the shape is pretty complicated and it's nice to be able to zoom it.
3. Ok, thanks. Didn't have enough time to get really serious about performance. On my devices it works fine.
4. Yeah, I just used colors from JSON.
5. Page zooming on mobile with double tap is disabled and page zooming with two fingers is enabled by design.
6. Really? For me they look on the same line :)
7. Yeah, you're right.
8. Font labels weight — hm... For me it looks like on the design provided, but probably you're right.
9. Oh. You're right. It happens sometimes.
The dates in the title displayed incorrectly for line charts and percentage charts, but they are displayed correctly for bar charts.
The final date is present in the preview, but not displayed in the title.

Yes, known issue.. thanks!
- no smooth animation between values
- no text animation
- table always in center and sometimes hide the dots
- some white spaces in round diagram
- no smooth animation in round diagram

Thanks for the feedback!
> - no smooth animation between values
Could you please explain it a bit? Which values do you mean?
> - no text animation
I didn't animate string range in top right corner and text in the tooltip. Other texts (x, y labels, title/Zoom Out) are animated.
> - table always in center and sometimes hide the dots
Yeah, that's true (in non-zoomed mode).
Otherwise it will run away from the cursor all the time and it won't be possible to zoom in one click.
In zoomed mode, the window is always on the left/right side from the cursor.
> - some white spaces in round diagram
This is not clear for me, could you please make a screenshot?
- no smooth animation in round diagram
Do you mean the transition when one piece of pie is selected and shifted a bit? Pieces selection is not animated, that's true.

Thank you very much!
- chart 1 - Y axis should starts from 0.
and nothing more )
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 06:35
Thanks for the feedback! A quote from the contest task: "The Y-scale on line graphs should start with the lowest visible value (Screenshot 4)."
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 06:39
Thanks! It's by design, the next point is located very high and that's why the scale upper limit has already started to increase.
Performance issue for pie chart - when you enter the zoommed in mode the performance drops significantly. If you watch the console - you can see that there is probably some infinite loop going on with logging current chart portion for pie chart. This is happening even if you don't take any actions. Once you exit the zoommed in mode, this stops. And that happens only for pie chart, other charts' zoom in works well.

Lol, I forgot to remove all console.log's :) Thanks!
The initial date range selection is more than 2 months , unlike the suggested by the contest screenshots final month
Chrome 73
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 19:52
Thanks, but you can also say that about 1/3 of overall data was selected on the screenshots. 1/3 is about 4 months, according to the JSON.
In rare cases when the y_scaled chart lines top relative values don't match, there is no rescaling on line select/deselect
Probably a minor issue

Thanks! This is by design, the next yellow point is drawn offscreen exactly at that level...
The minimap grips have too little touch areas, they are hard to grab on touch devices.
Redmi 3 / Chrome
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 20:06
Hm... Actually these areas are already extended (with Touch radius), but probably they should be extended even more. Thanks!
The Y scales disappear when I scroll the 2nd chart
MacBook Pro 2015 / Safari 12.1
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 19:50
Thanks! Yes, that's by design. They can disappear for a very short time during the transition.
Unable to select time range by dragging in the preview area (outside of the current window).
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 20:01
That's by design! You can only drag left or right boundary or the window itself.
Visual issues: bottom padding in the tooltip is too big (visibly larger than top, left and right ones). Distance between checkmark and label in the legend items is too small.
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 20:02
Yeah, it's not pixel-perfect (however, pretty close).
In zoomed-in mode, there's no snapping to day boundaries. Video provided by Telegram clearly showed that snapping.
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 20:00
There is snapping to days in pie chart mode. I didn't see snapping to days/months on other gifs, did you?
> Could you please explain it a bit? Which values do you mean?
I mean smooth transaction of circles when move mouse to next value little right or left
> other texts (x, y labels, title/Zoom Out) are animated
they already animated from first stage
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 20:03
Ah, I see. Nope, I didn't animate crosshair points.
Strange Y axis behavior (See screenshot)
No snapping to days, months
Crazy Cock Apr 18, 2019 at 19:59
Thanks for the feedback! That's by design, that's how Y transitions are implemented.

Great job. Cool animation for area chart.

Many thanks!
Animations not working in IE11 but generally good solution. Good luck in competition. Voted +1
