The file sizes and quality were difficult to balance in this round of contest, the quality took a major hit to fit the 300kb size but upon uploading the files were further compressed. The original files were 200+ kb each already, if the uploading was enabled earlier it would be beneficial for fine tuning and fitting in more gifs which were rejected for being oversize, only to have their further sizes further reduced automatically
