Richard Keogh's attitude hailed as he seeks to rebuild career at MK Dons

by Eamon DoggettRichard Keogh's attitude has been hailed by MK Dons' manager as he bids to rebuild his career.
The 34-year-old is still recovering from a horror knee injury sustained in a car crash after a boozy night out with his Derby County teammates.
Rams players Tom Lawrence and Mason Bennett were convicted of drink-driving for the incident, while Keogh, a back-seat passenger, was sacked by the club for gross misconduct.
Now the former Ireland defender is looking for a fresh start in League One and has been impressing Dons' boss Russell Martin with his commitment to the cause.
Martin told the MK Citizen:"Bringing him in was about culture and leadership and what he brings to the team, which will be huge for us.
"He's been to every pre-season game, he stops his rehab to come into every team meeting. He wants to be a part of everything. He's at an age and has the experience to know what he needs and what he wants.
"He's brought everything I thought he would, and he's not even playing yet. Once he starts playing, I'm sure he will become even more of a leader in the group. He wants to learn, he comes into my office a lot to ask about different things, what he's observed.
"And he wanted to come to Doncaster, so that shows what he's all about. I think people have forgotten about him because he signed really early for us, but he will be a massive signing for the club and has already added so much."
