Binky Felstead throws engagement party with MIC pals ahead of UK’s 'rule of six'
by Susan Knox, https://www.mirror.co.uk/authors/susan-knox/Binky Felstead has rushed to celebrate her engagement to beau Max Fredrik Darnton ahead of the UK’s ‘rule of six’ amid the coronavirus pandemic.
New rules in the UK stipulate that only groups of six people can congregate together at a time in an attempt to bring rules in line with outdoor gatherings.
Made in Chelsea star Binky, 30, revealed that she said yes when her man popped the question with a huge diamond ring on Friday.
Amid the uncertainty of the current crisis in the UK, the reality star rushed to celebrate her upcoming nuptials with a flock of friends and family shortly after her announcement.
Binky looked picture perfect in a stunning floral frock which did wonders to accentuate her enviable figure.
She was joined by her Made in Chelsea bff Rosie Fortescue who shared some snippets of the celebrations on her Instagram page.
In one stunning snap, Binky beamed from ear-to-ear as she proudly flashed her eye-watering engagement ring while sipping on a celebratory glass of bubbles.
Alongside the gorgeous snap of her friend, Rosie gushed that she couldn’t be any happier or prouder of Binky when she wrote, “I literally couldn't be happier for you my darling.”
The proud mother of one, who welcomed daughter India with former flame Josh Patterson in 2017, kept her engagement under wraps until Sunday night when she broke the news on Instagram.
Looking happier than ever while she shared a passionate kiss with her future husband, an overjoyed Binky penned, “The easiest ‘Yes’ EVER!
"On Friday morning, on their way to the duck pond, Max asked India for her permission to ask her mummy to marry him.
“I love you Max - you bring out the best in me. I’m so lucky.”
The happy couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance for 19-months before Max made the decision to get down on one knee and asked Binky to be his wife.
Following her split from MIC co-star Joshua, Binky admitted that it was a complete stranger on the internet who helped her find love with Max.
She previously told Women's Health magazine: "This girl [on Instagram] said, 'I think it's absolutely incredible what you're doing, bringing up your little girl, and I just want to let you know that I've been a single mum for two years now and I've turned away any opportunity to meet anyone because of my daughter.
"'And all I can say now is that she's growing up, she doesn't need me as much anymore and I'm still single and quite lonely.
"'So, please make sure you're not giving up the chance to meet someone or bring yourself happiness'."
After the stranger’s kind advice, Binky decided to get back out there and eventually found ‘the one’ in Max.
