Samantha Akkineni has apologized to Rakul Preet Singh and Sara Ali Khan after reports claimed that NCB denied taking any names and said that peddlers, not Bollywood stars were going to be summoned

It was previously reported that Rhea Chakraborty had named Sara, Rakul,designer Simone Khambatta, Sushant Singh Rajput's friend and former manager Rohini Iyer, and the actor's 'Dil Bechara' director Mukesh Chhabra while being interrogated in drugs case related to actor Sushant's death.
It was also reported thatRhea revealed as many as 15 names who consume drugs, also adding that80 percent of Bollywood stars are on drugs. Reports also stated that the Narcotics Control Bureau will summon 25 prominent Bollywood stars soon.
However, soon, the NCB reportedly said that no names have been finalized on. On Bollywood celebrities being summoned, it said that the list prepared was for peddlers and smugglers. Sharing an image of the news, Samantha wrote, "#SorryRakul #SorrySara," and even tagged Rakul Preet Singh on the Instagram story.

The drug angle in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case came to light after a leaked WhatsApp chat hinted that Rhea Chakraborty, among others, dealt in drugs. After conducting their investigation, NCB arrested Rhea's brother Showik, followed by her arrest. Sushant's house manager Dipesh Sawant and a few other drug peddlers were also taken in custody.
A Mumbai special court rejected Rhea, Showik and four other bail applications on Friday.
Sushant was found dead in his house on June 14, 2020 under mysterious circumstances. Mumbai Police had declared that the actor died by suicide, but on Supreme Court's order, the CBI took over the case. The NCB is investigating drug angle in the case, while ED is looking into financial aspect of it.
