Militants fire on security forces in Pulwama  

Militants opened fire on a team of security forces in Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Sunday, police officials said, adding that there were no reports of any casualty.

According to officials, around 5:45 pm, militants fired on a party of Rashtriya Rifles at Parigam in Kashmir’s Pulwama.
The security forces retaliated forcing the militants to flee, they added.

Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab the attackers.
