The time has come once again to witness the biggest cricket festival of the year. The Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to knock doors from September 19 in UAE, where the two heavyweights CSK and MI will put up a spectacular show in the season opener. The teams are undergoing the final phase of preparations, and indulging in all the sorts of activities to make their skills sharper.

In the same light, RCB bowling coach Adam Griffith came with a Yorker Challenge to level up the skills of bowlers. While bowlers put their best foot forward to place the deliveries, the skipper Virat Kohli was seen in complete chill mode along his side. He was constantly cheering and lauding the bowlers to come stronger, and it created a dazzling atmosphere.

Though Kohli didn’t participate in the activity, his presence and indirect involvement in the fun set the bowlers’ spirit on fire. The Indian skipper also posted the video of Yorker Challenge activity on his official Twitter handle and threw light on the fun he had while witnessing all of it. Seeing his light-hearted temperament, Twitter users went gaga and posted a lot of content relating to the same: –

The 31-year-old skipper’s excitement was evident enough as he came jumping and hugging the bowlers out of sheer joy. Though all the bowlers performed decent enough, Mohammad Siraj, Washington Sundar, and Navdeep Saini aced the yorkers with precision. However, Saini’s delivery was later called as a no-ball. All and all, it was a fun-filled activity that charged everyone’s mood in the squad.

Virat Kohli and company are looking forward to clinching their maiden IPL trophy this season. Talking in line with what Kohli stated earlier, their lot has never looked so balanced after 2016. The roster looks perfect, and they have gotten backup in all the sections. RCB star AB de Villiers also reiterated the captain’s words and said the team gives a ‘fresh’ feel this time.

Now it will be a thing to watch whether the team can replicate the same energy and enthusiasm during the match time amid the tournament.
