Huawei’s has patented a new rear-mounted 5-camera module phone
by Chandril ChattopadhyayA new leak from the house of Huawei has been doing the rounds of the internet for a long time. The Chinese tech giant’s new patent has been exposed. It shows the presence of the new machine that might have a rear-mounted five-camera module.
LetsGoDigital had reported this possible launch of a smartphone. According to the sources, this new mobile phone design has the rear camera module in a hexagonal shape, and 1 evenly distributed fill light. No front camera could be traced from these initial reports.
Back in July 2020, Huawei had patented a phone that could have conceived a real mechanical zoom lens. Diagrams from such a patent were also available. The design patent of that phone attributed to the OEM Huawei showed that it had one massive lens in an even larger rectangular housing on its back panel. It was perhaps also capable of DSLR-like zoom.
We must thus wait to see if they are granted the OEM from the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). Thus, this potential future Huawei phone maybe as acclaimed as the Nokia Lumia 1020 on its launch.
However, the faint responses to the patent don’t necessarily guarantee that a phone with 5 cameras in a hexagonal design and underlying camera may come anytime soon.
