by

The venues for the 2020 State of Origin series have been revealed.

Fox League reporter James Hooper broke the news on NRL 360 on Monday night.

The three interstate ties will be played at Adelaide Oval, ANZ Stadium in Sydney, and Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane - in that order.

The dates will be November 4, November 11, and November 18.

The NRL is expected to announce and confirm the news on Tuesday.

The Origin series will be played in the post-NRL season this year due to the coronavirus shutdown period.

It means Queensland and NSW are expected to select large squads of players, which will have to enter a bubble and isolate for the duration of the series.

NSW is the defending champions but the series decider may be played in Queensland’s heartland at Suncorp.
