Halo 3: ODST joins Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC next week

Developer 343 Industries has announced that Halo 3: ODST will finally join Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC next week. On September 22nd, PC players will be able to return to New Mombassa to unravel the mystery of why the Covenant attacked the city.

Also coming on September 22nd is Halo 3: ODST's Firefight mode for both console and PC versions of Halo: MCC. Firefight is essentially a horde mode, where you and up to three other players take on waves of enemies across ten different maps. Halo 3: ODST's campaign was added to Halo: MCC on Xbox One back in 2015, but Firefight was not included at the time.

Firefight will feature online matchmaking with dedicated servers and new custom game modes.

Halo 3: ODST joins Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC, and Firefight mode comes to both Xbox One and PC on September 22nd.
