Jeff Hendrick Seals Newcastle Win With Top Corner Missile

The Ireland international provided an assist for Callum Wilson's opening goal and then sealed a 2-0 win for Newcastle with a top corner strike.
Newcastle took the lead 10 minutes into the second half following a goalless opening 45 minutes. Hendrick nodded on Javier Manquillo's deflected cross and Wilson got his boot to the ball before Lukasz Fabianski could get his fist to it. Like Hendrick, Wilson was also making his debut for the club.
Hendrick capped off a fine bow with a superb 87th minute goal. After taking a lateral pass from Miguel Almiron just inside the box, he fired the ball into the top corner.
