The memorial is set for Wednesday in Riverside Park

The community is looking to come together on a couple fronts, to support the family of the victim of Friday's homicide in Cambridge.

Flowers and candles have been placed in front of the housing complex where Regional Police are investigating.

An outdoor memorial will go this Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at Riverside Park, and those who wish to attend are being asked not to wear black.

"Please wear your craziest and most colourful outfit," the event description reads, "It’s what she would have wanted."

They're also asking people to adhere to social distancing protocols.

Meantime, there's also a GoFundMe page set up to help the victim's family.

A 22-year old was killed on Friday, while another woman --- who was known to the victim --- was arrested.

No other suspects are being sought after at this time.
