Lite-On Tech reports on-month increase in August sales

EMS provider Lite-On Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$13.456 billion (US$456 million) for August, increasing 2.58% sequentially but decreasing 17.70% on year.

Of the revenues, 76% came from IT product lines including power supplies for servers, PCs and mobile devices; 21% from optoelectronics product lines including automotive CCMs (compact camera modules), LED devices and lighting; and 3% from others, Lite-On indicated.

Lite-On posted consolidated revenues of NT$100.91 billion for January-August, slipping 14.02% on year.

Fellow maker Qisda has reported consolidated revenues of NT$17.595 billion for August, growing 22.44% sequentially and 25.27% annually, and those of NT$114.839 billion for January-August rose 5.69% on year.
