Full results Tuscan GP: Hamilton wins, Albon on the podium!

by

Anyone who thought that F1 could not get any crazier after Monza was wrong. The first Tuscan Grand Prix held at Mugello was won by Lewis Hamilton, ahead of Valtteri Bottas. Alexander Albon had a strong race and scored the first podium of his career.

Bizarre race
The race was plagued by crashes, red flags and other problems, which is why a total of only 12 of the 20 drivers managed to reach the finish line. The Ferraris scored points in their 1000th race after a blank last time out.

Daniel Ricciardo looked set for a podium for a long time, but was passed late on by Albon. The Thai managed to pass Ricciardo at Turn 1 and was able to take his first podium place in Formula 1.
