Meghan Markle Celebrates First Anniversary Of Her Smart Works Collection In A Very Special Way!

by

The former duchess celebrated the very first anniversary of her Smart Works capsule collection of workwear. As you might know, this collection is much more than just fashion since it seeks to support women rejoining the workforce.

That’s right! Meghan Markle is still showing support to women in the United Kingdom, even though she has moved back to the U.S.

What Meghan is doing with this collection is help women in the U.K. be confident in their own bodies.

As for the first anniversary, Meghan marked the milestone with three women whose lives have changed for the better with the help of Smart Works after they started new jobs – Karla, Charlene, and Agnieszka.

The four of them connected virtually and chatted about all of this and more.

During the discussion, Meghan mentioned that ‘People can say so much of Smart Works is about clothes but it is really not … all that stuff is the exterior but it is what it does for you on the inside which ends up being the best accessory. It is the confidence, it is what is built within, that’s the piece you walk out of the room with and walk into the interview with.’

In the meantime, Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry have purchased a house in Santa Barbara this summer and that is where she was during the online chat with the other women.

The new home has 9 bedrooms and 19 bathrooms and even a 5-car garage but the biggest advantage that Meghan really loves is the big backyard since it offers her son a place to play and run around outside amid this pandemic.

Sure enough, Harry gushed over the outdoor space during a chat with Rugby Football League as well.

‘I’m just unbelievably fortunate to have outdoor space and to see my son be outside, because I know that so many people haven’t had that opportunity in the last 5 months. Our little man’s our No. 1 priority, but our work is the second priority. And we’re just trying to do everything that we can to do our part and make the world a better place.’
