Amitabh Bachchan becomes voice of Amazon Alexa in India

Bollywood legend, Amitabh Bachchan has been confirmed as the voice of Amazon Alexa in India.

Puneesh Kumar, Country Leader for Alexa, Amazon India said, “Bachchan’s voice is truly memorable for any Indian who has grown-up with Bollywood. This combination delivers a perfect pitch to further delight and simplify the lives of our customers.”

In the US, a number of celebrities like Samuel L Jackson have already been voicing the digital technology. This would be the first time a Bollywood celebrity will voice Alexa in India.
