The numbers behind the possible exit of Mbappé from PSG

Mbappé is clear that he wants to take the next step in his career and has let PSG know well in advance. The Parisian club, when he has one year on his contract, hopes to get a large amount of money, in what will be a battle for the Frenchman to be able to leave Paris.

At 21 years of age, Mbappé wants to be more than the champion of the French league, because at PSG he has practically won it all. The striker dreams of winning the Champions League which has escaped him at PSG, as well as the Ballon d´Or in the future. For that reason, the striker thinks he has to leave. 

The newspaper 'The Times' brought the information to light this past Sunday and Mbappé has already told PSG about his wish to leave the club in the summer of 2021 with the intention of giving the French club time to prepare for his exit.

Even then, it will not be easy. According to 'The Sun', the French club will provoke a transfer saga with the asking price of their star player, when he has only one year left on his contract. PSG plan to ask for 324 million euros to every club with an interest in Mbappé.

A number that would turn Mbappé into the most expensive player ever if he passes the 222 million that Neymar cost. Logically, in times of crisis, not just any club will be able to put in such an offer to PSG. Clubs on the list include giants such as Real Madrid and the two Manchester teams. 

From here on out the negotiations will begin, because if Mbappé continues to refuse to renew, like he has up to this point, the striker will be able to leave completely free in 2022, which would make PSG get nothing for one of the greatest players in the world. Definitely, it would be a great failure for the club.

But the problems do not end with his transfer price. Mbappé would also want to earn more than the 16 million that he earns now with PSG, looking to reach or surpass the 20 million mark. His salary would have to be added to the cost of this hypothetical transfer bill. Mbappé will be certain to liven up the summer of 2021 a lot.
