by Julia AtherleyA PENSIONER has appeared in court charged with killing a baby girl 44 years ago.
Terence McArthur, 66, is accused of the manslaughter of Tracey McArthur in Plymouth, Devon in 1976.
McArthur, of Rochdale, Greater Manchester, has been bailed on a tagged curfew to a supported housing project.
Today Judge Peter Johnson set a provisional date for his seven-day trial as July 5 2021.
McArthur will not be asked to enter a plea until a psychiatric report has been prepared on him on behalf of the defence.
