Liverpool will welcome a huge Christmas show this December with special measures in place due to Covid-19.
M&S Bank Arena will host a magical panto later this year - Jack and the Beanstalk.
The show, which will run at The Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena from December 18 - 27, will star Leanne Campbell and comedy favourite Bippo.
Bringing all the usual family fun, the panto will also feature social distancing and several other changes to ensure the safety of visitors and staff.
The new measures include a reduced capacity, which will see the number of guests allowed dropped from 1,350 to under 500.
The ‘one metre plus’ rule will also be in place at The Auditorium, as well as a one-way system, hand sanitising stations and deep cleaning procedures.
Panto classic Jack and the Beanstalk tells the story of Jack, his brother Silly Billy and his mother Dame Trott as they attempt to beat the evil giant in the sky and save the village.
The show promises “a superb cast, live band, brilliant scenery and costumes, amazing special effects and lots and lots of laughs”.

James Shone, producer of the show, said: “We have loved bringing our pantos to the Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena and the thought of letting so many people down was heart-breaking.
“With so many other venues announcing that they are unable to stage a panto this year I am delighted that we have been able to work with the venue so that the people of Liverpool can still enjoy Jack and the Beanstalk.”
