Bonder joins as BeMC Commissioner 

Brahmapur: Siddheswar Baliram Bonder took charge as the Commissioner of Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) from the outgoing Commissioner Chakraborty Singh Rathore on Friday. Bonder also took charge as Berhmpur Development Authority(BeDA) Chairman. Bonder said he along with others would expedite the ongoing works. Outgoing BeMC Commissioner Chakravarti Singh Rathore, who has been shifted as district Collector, Jajpur, was given farewell on the occasion. Sub-Collector Bhattacharya Bhau Saheb and BeDA Secretary Sambit Rout were present.

Voluntary Week observed by TSLPL

Champua: The Tata Steel Long Product Ltd (TSLPL) at Bilaipada under Joda block in Keonjhar district is observing Tata Voluntary Week (TVW) from September 5 to October 7. TSLPL employees are  rendering voluntary services in the surrounding villages which include education, healthcare, Covid-19 awareness, stress management and sustainability while maintaining social distance. The ongoing programme is the 14th edition of TVW.
