M1 motorists warned of lengthy delays after multi-vehicle crash

It happened in the northbound lanes near exit 45 around 7.45am.
Initial reports suggested at least five vehicles were involved in the collision, with all lanes blocked, and lengthy delays expected.
Paramedics were called to the scene, where they reported that two vehicles had crashed.
Only one person required transport to hospital, and they were taken in a stable condition.
There are still residual delays on the motorway.
EARLIER @ 8.00AM | Motorists are being warned of huge delays heading into Brisbane this morning, after a multi-vehicle crash on the M1.
At least five vehicles became involved in the collision, after two cars collided in the northbound lanes near exit 45 around 7.45am.
All lanes are believed to be affected at the moment, with motorists warned of lengthy delays.
Police are on scene as well.
No injuries have been reported just yet.
