Harley Street-trained doctor opens Nottingham's newest skincare clinic

He's worked in the A&E department at QMC, too

A Harley Street-trained doctor who worked at Queen's Medical Centre's Accident and Emergency department during the height of the pandemic has opened his first UK clinic in Nottingham.

Specialising in medical aesthetics and skincare, Dr Dimitri Vichas (or Dr Dimi for short) is a fully accredited medical aesthetics speciality doctor.

He has opened Eudai Clinic on the first floor of the award-winning Hairven salon in Beeston’s High Road.

Dr Dimi, 31, said: "Eudai Clinic is a doctor-led aesthetics clinic, with a primary focus on helping our patients to achieve healthy and fantastic looking skin through evidence-based treatments and experienced medical advice on skincare."

The clinic is offering treatments including; anti-wrinkle treatment, Mesotherapy, micro-needling, dermal fillers, skin peels and specialist treatments for men’s skin.

He added he follows a holistic medical approach and treats the whole person, not just the skin, adding that he strongly believes that overall wellness is based on everyday habits and that finding the right habits can have fantastic benefits for your skin.

Dr Dimi, who is originally from Cyprus, had planned to open earlier this year but postponed those plans to concentrate on his NHS work as the Covid-19 crisis deepened.

With lockdown restrictions still limiting many hands-on treatments, he has pivoted to online consultations, where he can offer advice and prescribe medical-grade treatments for problem areas and skincare challenges.

He said: "We have been building our customer base online due to the lockdown but now we are almost ready to begin our hands-on work and I cannot wait to welcome our first clients and meet them face-to-face."

Located above Hairven, which is run by Collette Osborne, Dr Dimi said: "My team and I have spent a huge amount of time researching locations and potential partners and in Collette and the Hairven team we have found someone who understands our values and also has the incredibly high standards that we ourselves hold dear."

Last year, Hairven won the coveted title of Salon of the Year at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019.
