East Midlands Ambulance Service also at the scene
by Ben LyonsPolice closed off a Derby street with a cordon this afternoon.
Walnut Street, off Osmaston Park Road, in Allenton, was cordoned off by officers before 1pm.
Derbyshire Live reader Ryan Meehan got in touch to say he could see two police cars at the scene when he drove past at around 12.30pm.
Mr Meehan said: "Police had blocked both junctions with their cars and were putting police tape up as I was driving past which made me think it’s something serious."

Katie Seeney says she saw an ambulance parked up just after 1pm in nearby Malborough Road, which can be accessed from Walnut Street.
She said: "There were two police cars and one ambulance.
"The ambulance was at the other end of street on Malborough Road, just round the corner from where the road was cordoned off, so it seemed to be related.
"Police were looking in the weeds at the side of the path for something, searching throughly.
"The road was cordoned off, and everyone was standing outside their houses talking to neighbours."
