Weather in Bulgaria: The Week Starts with Summer and Ends with Autumn Temperatures

The first school week for students comes with a warm summer, but will end with an autumn chill. Dry weather with daily temperatures in the range of 27-32 degrees is expected from Monday to Wednesday. The warmest will be along the Danube, along the Struma Valley and in the Southeast. Every day the thermometers will show a degree or two down. The wind is moderate, with momentary strong gusts in Southeastern Bulgaria.

Around the Black Sea coast in the first half of the week will remain warm with temperatures in the warmest part of the day between 26 and 28 degrees. Sea water also remains in the summer range, but the sea will not be calm. The height of the waves will fluctuate between a meter and two meters, on some southern shores and more. In the mountains the clouds will be dynamic, more often significant in the afternoon with the possibility of insignificant precipitation. The wind will be stronger more often, especially in the mountain massifs of South-Southeast - the Rhodopes, Strandzha and Sakar.

The first days of the new week come with an extremely high risk of forest and field fires. The fields and forest territories throughout Southeastern Bulgaria, around the coast and in Central Northern Bulgaria are vulnerable. The wind will further complicate the fire situation. Making a fire outdoors is dangerous. Special attention to agricultural machinery is also required.

The second half of the week, from Thursday onwards, we will feel the first breath of autumn. A cold front will pass over the country, which will bring precipitation on Thursday in places in the mountains of southwestern Bulgaria, and on Friday - in more areas of the country, but mainly in the western half. The last weekend of the astronomical summer will be cool, without precipitation, but with temperatures in the warmest part of the day - up to 20-25 degrees./Nova Tv
