Speaker to share search for ancestral cemetery during genealogy meeting

What if the location of an old cemetery was lost to history, along with the ancestral families buried there?
When Sydney Clinton Holt went to look for the lost Holt Cemetery and the graves of his ancestors, he enlisted the help of a county historian and local residents to assist him in his search.
The Oklahoma Home and Community Education Genealogy group will host a presentation by Holt on “Finding My Great-Great-Grandfather’s Grave” at 10 a.m. Sept. 16 at the Oklahoma County OSU Extension Center, 2500 NE 63.
The presentation is open to the public, and masks are required.
