Rockets' Danuel House Possibly Violated NBA Bubble Rules with Female in Room

Houston Rockets' Danuel House Jr. is reportedly being investigated to see if he violated the rules in the NBA bubble by allowing a female in his room. The current rules allow family members to visit players, but Yahoo! Sports reporter Chris Haynes spoke to a source close to the situation, who says House allowed "a female COVID-19 testing official into his room." House has denied violating any protocols. 

The Rockets announced on Tuesday (September 8) that Danuel would miss Game 3 vs the Lakers, and recent reports indicate that he will also miss Game 4. He could be facing a mandatory 10-day quarantine plus additional discipline if it was found that he violated the rules. Sacramento Kings center Richaun Holmes faced the 10-day quarantine earlier in the season after crossing the Disney campus line to pick up delivery food.
