Motorola One 5G unboxing and first impressions

Announced a couple of weeks ago, the goal of the Motorola One 5G is to provide 5G for under $500. It certainly achieves that goal and more, and the device itself it reminiscent of a Motorola Edge with some corners cut. That includes the design, which has the same rainbow-colored reflections.

The Motorola One 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor, along with 4GB RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It supports sub6 5G in the AT&T model that was sent to me, although the Verizon variant that's coming later will support both sub6 and mmWave, thanks to Verizon currently not having a sub6 network.

It also has a quad camera array, with the main sensor sporting a resolution of 48MP, using quad pixel technology for 12MP images. It also has an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, but more interesting is the macro sensor. The macro sensor is 5MP, and it has a light ring around it, the idea being that you might be blocking light when taking a macro shot.
