Xbox Game Pass gets another five games in September

Microsoft has announced five new games are joining Xbox Game Pass in September. Destiny 2, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, Night In The Woods, Halo 3: ODST for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, and Company of Heroes 2 Complete Collection will all be playable with Xbox Game Pass soon.

Company of Heroes 2 (PC) – September 17th

Company of Heroes 2 Complete Collection joins Xbox Game Pass for PC on September 17th. We haven't picked up an achievement list for the game just yet, but looking at the game's Microsoft Store listing, it does say the real-time strategy game supports Xbox Live Achievements. Company of Heroes allows you to command armies to victory across two campaigns, which stretches from Stalingrad to the Battle of the Bulge.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep & Forsaken (Android & Console) – September 22nd

Destiny 2, with both the Shadowkeep and Forsaken expansions, joins Xbox Game Pass for console and xCloud on September 22nd. Create your own Guardian, and explore the solar system either solo or with your friends on co-op missions. Destiny 2's next expansion Beyond Light is also coming to Xbox Game Pass on November 10th.

Halo 3: ODST (Android & PC) – September 22nd

Halo 3: ODST also joins Halo: The Master Chief Collection in Xbox Game Pass for PC and xCloud on September 22nd. As an Orbital Drop Shock Trooper, you'll travel back to New Mombasa and try to piece together the Covenant's reasoning for invading the city. ODST Firefight will also be joining The Master Chief Collection on both console and PC on the same date.

Night in the Woods (Android, Console, PC) – September 24th

Night in the Woods is coming to both Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass for PC, plus xCloud on September 24th. Night in the Woods is an adventure title about college dropout Mae Borowiski who returns to her hometown of Possum Springs. Mae reconnects with her old friends, but things aren't the same, and when the light fades, strange things start happening.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 (Android & Console) September 24th

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 joins Xbox Game Pass and xCloud on September 24th. The four-player co-op hack and slash is set in Warhammer Fantasy Battles world, features a new enemy faction, 15 new career paths, talent trees, weapons and more.

If you missed it, Microsoft announced the full list of games available in Project xCloud when it officially launches into beta tomorrow. Over 150 games will be playable at launch via Cloud Streaming.
