COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a hit and run driver involved in an accident on I-75 near mile marker 103 in Collier County Sunday afternoon.

According to troopers, the suspected female driver was traveling north on the center lane, and the other car, driven by a 68-year-old male, was traveling north in the right of the highway.

Troopers say the suspect collided with the left side of the other vehicle.

After the crash, troopers say the suspect stopped on the shoulder, switched seating with a male passenger, and fled the scene.

The other driver traveled off the road and struck a guardrail.

Troopers say the car driven by the suspect is a black Kia Sedan.

If you have any information, you are asked to call the Florida Highway Patrol or Crimestoppers.
