CMHO to issue certificate after patient completes home isolation

Now on Covid positive patients receiving treatment at their home will get a certificate from their district Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO) after completion of their home isolation, it was announced on Sunday.

“Considering the health condition of a Covid positive patient who had received Covid treatment in their house while being in home isolation will get a certificate from district CMHO after they successfully complete the isolation period,” an official press release said.  

The doctors monitoring a patient in home isolation will inform the control room once the patient has      recovered. Then the office of CMHO will start the process for   issuing the certificate, it said.

So far, 798 patients in home isolation have        recovered from the virus.

According to the Health Department, after completing home isolation of 10 days, the person will have to stay in their home for the next seven days as a precaution. After 17 days the doctor monitoring patient will intimate the CMHO to issue a certificate, the press release said.
