Fife police van involved in early morning smash as both drivers injured and cop probe launched
by Katy PaganA POLICE van was involved in an early morning smash in Fife which saw both drivers injured.
The force motor collided with a Transit van on Cowndebeath's High Street around 1am this morning.
The officer driving the marked van and the other driver both suffered minor injuries.
But neither needed hospital treatment.
Police Scotland is now probing the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing.
A police spokeswoman said: "Around 1am on Saturday, 12 September, 2020 a police van, collided with a Transit Van on Cowdenbeath High Street, near to Station Road.
"The drivers of both vehicles sustained minor injuries however neither required hospital treatment.
"Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing."
