Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan files petition against Police negligence at Calcutta HC

Team India cricketer Mohammed Shami's wife Hasin Jahan has filed a petition before Calcutta High Court against Police negligence, demanding security for herself and her daughter.

Hasin in her petition also mentioned that she had made a post on Social Media on Bhumi pujan of Ram Mandir after which she has been receiving life-threatening messages and being abused online. On August 9, she had previously made a complaint asking for security before Kolkata Police, however, no action has been taken on it yet.

The matter is also accepted by the Calcutta High court and its likely to be heard next week.

After far asMohammed Shami is concerned, the Kings XI Punjab pacer is currently in UAE preparing for the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League.

Shami, who is one of KXIP's key members of the squad, hasn't played any top-flight cricket in the past 5 months amid the COVID-19 outbreak across the globe.
