Key Highlights

You know the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is expected to be launched in India some time this month? Yeah, so right on cue, internet sleuths have delivered a new tranche of information about the upcoming RE bike in India. In this set of information, we learn about Royal Enfield Meteor 350 specs in detail. But information such as the upcoming bike's variants had been revealed previously, not via official sources though. We'll get to that in a bit.

The bike's retro styling is rounded off by provisions such as the circular halogen headlamp, LED DRL, LED tail lamps, forward-set footpegs, raised handlebar, etc. It gets a 19-incher up front and a 17-inch wheel at the back. As for the list of new RE Meteor 350's features -- it will include a new twin-pod cluster instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity, etc. The bigger unit in the cluster will include the analogue speedometer, while the smaller pod, christened the Tripper Navigation Unit, will provide navigation details.

We already know the upcoming Royal Enfield bike in India will be propelled by an air-cooled 349 cc single-cylinder engine that belts out a maximum power of 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm of peak torque. Leaked documents also note that this will be a long-stroke engine to ensure delivery of increased torque at low rpm. We have now also learned that the bike's suspension set up will include 41 mm telescopic forks with 130 mm of travel and six-step adjustable twin springs. For braking, the 2020 Meteor 250 will come equipped with disc brakes at either end. Oh and it will also get dual-channel ABS.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will be available across three variants, namely, Fireball, Supernova, and Stellar. As for colour options, the two-wheeler manufacturer is expected to offer the bike with a choice between seven options: Fireball Yellow, Fireball Red, Stellar Red Metallic, Stellar Black Matte, Stellar Blue Metallic, Supernova Brown, and Supernova Blue.

Though we still do not have a Royal Enfield Meteor 350 launch date in India, we reckon that whenever it does, it will come sporting a price tag ranging between ₹1.6 lakh to ₹1.9 lakh (ex-showroom).
