Liverpool are desperately in need of a midfielder and Jurgen Klopp has been told by the club that he needs to raise funds if he truly wants to bring Bayern Munich’s Thiago to Anfield.

Club legend Jamie Carragher has disclosed that the reigning Premier League champions have been told to bring £27million for Thiago by Bayern Munich.

Recall that Klopp had to let Dejan Lovren leave the club before he could prosecute the signing of left-back Konstantinos Tsimikas for £11.75m.

"Liverpool have got three or four players in the squad they are looking to move on,” Carragher started.

Other players that could be sold include Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Xherdan Shaqiri and Nabi Keita should any club make an offer to the Reds.

And meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has reportedly told Paris Saint-Germain he wants to leave the club next summer, reports claim.

According to The Times, the France international wants to join either of the Premier League giants Manchester United or Liverpool.

It is understood the 21-year-old has told the French champions that he wants to leave at the end of this season.
