Extraction actor Rudhraksh on how working with Chris Hemsworth changed his life: 'I was bullied at school'

Speaking in an interview, Extraction actor Rudhraksh Jaiswal explained how Hollywood star Chris Hemsworth aka Thor changed his life. The Indian actor also revealed he was bullied at school.

Life seemingly changed overnight for Indian actor Rudhraksh Jaiswal after working with Hollywood superstar Chris Hemsworth in the movie, Extraction. Working with Chris in the action-thriller film was indeed a dream come true for the young actor. Just like any other teenager, Rudhraksh is also a massive fan of Marvel movies and his co-star Chris, who is also synonymous with the fictional superhero character, Thor.  

Speaking about the bond he shared with the Hollywood star, the Indian actor revealed that life was not the same for him after Extraction. Speaking in an interview, the young actor recalled how things were in the pre-Extraction era for him. He said that he was bullied at school and used to come home crying every day. However, Rudhraksh managed to turn things around for himself after he was roped in for the Chris Hemsworth-starrer. 

“Before I did Extraction, my life was very different. I was bullied at school, people would try to bring me down and every day I would go home crying,” the Indian actor told the Daily Telegraph in an interview. Speaking about sharing a good friendship with Chris aka Thor, Rudhraksh said that he always reaches out to his Extraction co-star whenever he needs advice from a friend. 

“He’s been guiding me through this journey. If I’m stuck or need advice, I always reach out to him. He’s my idol. He always brings out the best in me. He also helped me improve my acting techniques and taught me the art of dialogue, voice modulation and taking pauses in between lines,” he added. 

Helmed by Sam Hargrave and produced by Joe and Anthony Russo, Extraction went on to become the most-watched Netflix original film following its release on the OTT platform. Besides Chris and Rudhraksh, the movie also stars Priyanshu Painyulli, Randeep Hooda, and Pankaj Tripathi.
