Barcelona should try to sign Real Madrid’s transfer target

Arthur Melo has left Barcelona for Juventus.

Barcelona have swapped Arthur Melo for Miralem Pjanic from Juventus over the summer transfer window. Losing the young Brazilian has left a void in the Camp Nou that Bartomeu and Ronald Koeman must try to fill over the summer transfer window. Even though Pjanic can act as a short term replacement for Arthur Melo the club must try to sign a younger midfielder who has the ability to grow into one of the best midfielders over the next few seasons.

However, rather than trying to sign young midfielders the Catalan giants have shown interest to sign Georginio Wijnaldum from Liverpool who is 29 years old as well as Lautaro Martinez and Memphis Depay as attacking options. Many other rumours have suggested that in addition to signing midfielders and attackers the club is trying to sign defenders as the Spanish giants have decided to sell Samuel Umtiti and Junior Firpo.

Barca should try to sign Eduardo Camavinga.

The 17 year old French defensive midfielder has been phenomenal for Stade Rennais and  helped his club finish 3’rd in the Ligue 1 in the 2019-2020 season. According to the ESPN, Manchester United and Real Madrid have been impressed by his performances and have shown interest to sign the budding midfielder.

The 2018-2019 La Liga champions must try to lure Eduardo Camavinga to the Camp Nou over the summer transfer window. Camavinga would act as a long term replacement for Sergio Busquets and fill the void of Ivan Rakitic and Arturo Vidal in the upcoming season. Ronald Koeman should try and establish a season long loan deal with an attached buyout clause similar to the deal Philippe Coutinho had with Bayern Munich.

Do you think Barcelona will be able to sign Eduardo Camavinga?
