'Timothee Chalamet is someone who I want to continue to work with': Saoirse Ronan at TIFF 2020

Saoirse Ronan and Timothee Chalamet shared screen space in 'Lady Bird' and 'Little Women'.

The ongoing Toronto International Film Festival witnessed several artists across the globe coming together for the virtual event. Saoirse Ronan, who is the four-time Oscar nominee actor also got into a conversation to discuss her decade long journey. The actor started as a child artist and went on to play the leading lady in many hit films namely Brooklyn, Lady Bird, Little Women among others. Now during an interaction with TIFF, Saoirse revealed it all about her beautiful journey in the movies.

Ronan has shared screen space with Timothée Chalamet in a couple of movies and their camaraderie is loved by many. On being asked about her experience of working with him, the Lady Bird actor stated, "I always knew he was very special. We’ve always just felt very comfortable with one another. It excites me how different we are and he’s someone who I want to continue to work with. I want to see how it goes when we get older."

Saoirse has been known to have back to back projects. When quizzed about not burning out due owing to her busy schedule, the talented star said, "I was very lucky that I got very cool and interesting jobs since I was young and I don’t need to rush into a job just to work. It's important to me not to lose the bond with my work and it has continued to be satisfying."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ronan's upcoming film is Ammonite which premiered at TIFF 2020. In the film directed by Francis Lee, Saoirse is romantically paired opposite Kate Winslet.
