New Delhi: Confirming Times Now's mega newsbreaks in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sources on Monday said that the final investigation report in the matter will be 'conclusive', and will have 'no confusion'. The report, which is expected to be submitted within a few days, before the meeting of the medical team on September 17, is likely to throw light on a 'homicide' theory.

The medical board of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) was entrusted with the task to examine the medical aspects in the case and is slated to meet on September 17.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. Last month, the Supreme Court transferred the probe to the CBI. The probe agency has so far, grilled Rhea Chakraborty, her family members and Rajput's staff members as well as friends in connection with the matter.

Agency report confirms Times Now newsbreak

Days ago, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) began probing the 'drug' angle in the case after CBI accessed Chakraborty's WhatsApp chats which had references to banned substances. The agency has so far investigated Rhea Chakraborty's alleged connections with the 'drug syndicate'. The probe, as reported first by Times Now, has also hinted towards names of some Bollywood personalities.

In yet another confirmation of Times Now's report, news agency ANI, on Monday reported that 'the names of Sara Ali Khan, Simone Khambatta and Rakul Preet Singh have surfaced during the investigation'. "No summons issued to these people as of now," the Narcotics Control Bureau sources were quoted as saying by ANI.

Last week, a special court in Mumbai rejected the bail plea of Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty. The duo, currently arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau will remain in the custody of the agency till September 22.
