Country music star Brad Paisley was the guest host Wednesday night on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!," and he recruited Oklahoma native Carrie Underwood to make a special cameo.

For his first late-night monologue, Paisley reworked some of his hits for the strange days of 2020, including a version of "Alcohol" that referenced Dr. Fauci, Zoom meetings and toilet paper hoarding and a rendition of "Letter to Me" that he joked would take years to get there because of turmoil at the U.S. Postal Service.

He capped the funny bit with a new take on "Remind Me," his smash duet with Underwood, in which they sang of social distancing and wearing masks.

It was the sort of moment the dynamic duo might have offered up during their 11-year run as one of the most popular and successful hosting pairs in Country Music Association Awards history. Naturally, the Checotah native teased Paisley about having to appear and save the show for him.

As previously reported, Paisley and Underwood performed in concert together for the Grand Ole Opry’s 4,940th consecutive Saturday night broadcast, which was live-streamed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Check out photos and videos of the concert here.
