A sex-famished Mutare woman dragged her polygamous husband to court where she spilled the tea about him failing to perform in bed.
Mildred Mafunda who is the second wife of Clever Mtetwa unveiled all the dirty laundry in court when she was applying for a protection order. She accused her husband of physically abusing her on top of sexually starving her.
iHarare has learned from the Manica Post that Mafunda appeared before Mutare Magistrate Ms. Notebulgar Muchineripi when she made the allegations.
Mafunda alleged that her husband has been using reverse psychology to make up for his shortcomings by accusing her of having marital affairs. She claimed that he has been assaulting her using sticks and knives over the suspicions. She produced some of the knives and sticks as evidence.
Presenting his case, Mtetwa initially claimed that someone had “locked” him to stop him from performing in bed.
However, when his wife challenged him on why he was still failing to perform if the problem had been solved, Mtetwa turned the tables on her.
Mtetwa denied the allegations of physically abusing his wife.
Following the submissions, the presiding magistrate granted the protection order in Mafunda’s favor and barred Mtetwa from assaulting, insulting, and harassing his wife. She also advised the couple to go for marital counseling.
