Wes Nelson has previewed his debut solo single with a selection of famous faces for the first time ever.
The former Love Island star, 22, has swapped his reality TV career and carved a path for himself in the music industry instead.
Admitting that he has always had an undying passion for music, Wes decided to share his new tune See Nobody with a number of high-profile stars before the single’s debut on September 17th.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the former X Factor Celebrity star revealed the reactions of Idris Elba, Ashley Banjo and Anthony Joshua while he played his new song over FaceTime.
The short clip also included a whole host of other stars such as Dappy who gasped upon hearing the catchy tune, Love Island’s Ovie who simply couldn’t contain his excitement and comedian Mo Gilligan who danced along to Wes’ masterpiece.
The video ends with Idris Elba showering the former Love Island star with a huge compliment as he gushes: “That’s a big tune mate! You know what Wes, big up for that one mate!”.
Alongside the uplifting clip, Wes penned: “HERE IT IS!! My debut single ‘see nobody’ landing on 17th September!! Wrote by me, produced by @ayobeatz.
“I’ve been working on an absolute movie, so here’s a couple reactions from my people. How's it sounding?”.
Wes first showcased his incredible vocal skills on X Factor Celebrity last year when he entered the talent competition with the Love Island band No Love Lost.
Just three months after appearing on the show, the band which was made up of Zara McDermott, Eyal Booker, and Samira Mighty, announced their split as Wes went solo.
Speaking to Mirror Online following the split, Wes admitted: "Music is what I love most now.
"Especially after doing X Factor and seeing what goes on behind the scenes."
Wes has even built a recording studio in his house after signing his first record deal with Universal Music Group and EMI records last month.
