Actress Dipika Chikhlia, best remembered for her role as Sita in Ramanand Sagar's the epic TV show, Ramayan, is currently mourning the loss of her mother, Alkaben Rajeshbhai Chikhlia, who passed away yesterday, 12th September, at the age of 77. She has shared a heartbreaking message on her Instagram handle, putting the death of a parent into perspective. “Loss of your parent..is a grief one cannot go by easily. Mum RIP,” wrote the actress. Earlier, Dipika Chikhlia shared a heartfelt eulogy for her mother on Instagram that read: “She left a trail of joy and laughter everywhere she went. Finding happiness in even the smallest things in life. When She smiled we would all smile, she would play with the youngest and tickle the brains of the wisest. A strong independent woman, light years ahead of her time, she gave us the wisdom to lead our lives with strength and inspired us to live our lives to the fullest. She always saw the bright side even on a rainy day. Let's remember her for always bringing a smile to our faces and cherish the memories we've created together. A few months ago, the Ramayan actress had shared a cute throwback pic with her parents and wrote: “My mum, dad and me .... I had my family albums out, so dug into it deeper and found some pictures which I wanted to share ... my mum said I loved dressing all Indian and even then sarees were my all time favorite, if my mum was carrying a purse even I wanted it. So, apparently, I had a collection of purses too ..this picture is taken before the birth of my sister in Baroda now Vadodara ..where I stood for election... opposite the Maharaja on a BJP seat...”
