Louis Vuitton Unveils $960 Luxury Face Shield That Reacts To Sunlight

Louis Vuitton has unveiled the first look at its stylish face shield, which features a monogram strap, gold studs, a plastic visor that can react to sunlight and be lifted when needed.
The visor will transition from “clear to dark at the first sign of direct sunlight,” to protect its wearer from the sun glare. According to Vanity Fair, the face shield will be priced at US$961.
The company previously repurposed its workshops in France to manufacture face masks to support the supply of medical equipment in the nation.

Now, it is dipping its toes into fashionable protective gear, which is set to be released in selected stores in October.
