Alfredo Morelos' agent arrives in Glasgow as Rangers star's future remains a mystery
The striker is heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox after bids from Lille were rejected.
by Mark McDougall, https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/authors/mark-mcdougall/The agent of Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has arrived in Glasgow as his client's future remains up in the air.
Michael Gorman, of World in Motion, is in Scotland and could be set for crunch talks with Rangers over the next few days.
The World in Motion agency also represents Ibrox defender George Edmundson and Aberdeen's Mikey Devlin but it's Morelos who has been the subject of bids this summer.
The Colombian has been heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox and has had offers from French side Lille.
A £16million bid - confirmed by Lille president Gerard Lopez - was rejected by Rangers and Morelos was dropped from the squad after having his head turned.
Steven Gerrard brought him back in and he played 30 minutes against Dundee United as a substitute before needing replaced himself after a horror tackle from Ryan Edwards.
He could be back for Thursday's game against Lincoln Red Imps, although it's more likely that Sunday's trip to face Hibs is the target for him to play next.
But his future at Ibrox remains a mystery and his agent arriving in Glasgow is set to spark further questions over what happens next with Morelos.
The 24-year-old has also been linked with a move to Fiorentina, as well as the likes of West Brom, Napoli and various others.

His agent, has already stoked fires in Scotland this week by claiming Morelos is treated poorly by referees.
It came after the tackle on Morelos that left a massive gash on the Colombian's knee.
In a post now removed, he said: “It has been clear for a while that Morelos will not receive fair treatment in the Scottish Premiership.
“And now we have to question the motives of referee Kevin Clancy.”
