Realme Narzo 20, Narzo 20A, Narzo 20 Pro to launch on September 21

by

In what looks like a cool media invite, Realme revealed the launch date of the Narzo 20 series.

Highlights

Realme Narzo 20 series will launch in India on September 21. In a pretty hip box, Realme sent out the media invite for its upcoming series that will debut later this month. The interesting thing about the box was a handheld SUP retro game controller, which I am assuming hints at the gaming prowess of the Narzo 20 series. There is also a box of energy bars and those should mean long-lasting batteries on Narzo 20 series.

There are going to be three smartphones under the series this time: Narzo 20A, Narzo 20, and Narzo 20 Pro. The Pro model is debuting this time, unlike the Narzo 10 series. It had just Narzo 10A and Narzo 10, both of which were rebranded versions of Realme C3 triple-camera model and Realme 6i available in Myanmar. If we go by history, the Realme Narzo 20 series could also have rebadged models. What those models are going to be is something that is not clear at the moment.

The invite has outlines of the three smartphones. While I am not sure which one is what, I can tell you what you expect from the Narzo 20 series. Two smartphones will have a fingerprint sensor at the back while one of them does not have it on its back. The odd one could either have the fingerprint sensor mounted on the power button, or completely rid of it, or even an OLED display with the fingerprint sensor embedded under it. Anything could be possible but I feel the first case looks more reasonable. These are just speculations and you should take them with a pinch of salt.

The Narzo 20 series also has multi-camera setups at the back, in squarish and cylindrical designs. These designs we have already seen on previously launched Realme phones so nothing new about them. However, it is unclear from these outlines whether all circles have cameras or one of them is an LED flash instead. In which case, there are going to be three cameras on at least one Narzo 20 series phone. I am deducing the invite and nothing is official right now. In any case, we will have more clarity in the coming days as Realme will begin teasing the smartphones.
