Police hunting a wanted 29-year-old man are warning the public not to approach him but to call them immediately.

Mitchell Hurrell is wanted by police after he breached the terms of his prison licence.

The breach, according to the National Probation Service, means he is to be recalled to prison, but he has so far eluded the authorities.

Hurrell is described as a white male, with a tanned complexion. He is around 5ft 5ins tall, of stocky build with short brown hair and stubbled facial hair.

Hurrell frequents the West Hoe, Oreston, Keyham and Kings Tamerton areas of Plymouth.

In 2018 police issued an appeal after he went missing in the middle of a snowstorm in the Stonehouse creek area of Plymouth, while wearing nothing but a tracksuit and trainers.

Anyone who sees Hurrell, or knows of his whereabouts, is asked not to approach him but to contact police via 999, quoting log 1001 of 04/09/2020.
