Plantation drive on 125th birth anniversary of Vinoba Bhave held

The youngsters of the of the city carried out the plantation drive on Sunday.

On the ocassion of 125 years of Acharya Vinoba Bhave Anant Mansdi and GoRurban team did a plantation drive at Neelbad. They started with the discussion on the life of Vinoba Bhave, about his work specially the ‘Bhudan movenment’.

Vinoba Bhave travelled across India and asked people to give their piece of land to landless people. People across India joined the movement and gifted their land to landless people. They also discussed how we can initiate such movements and build sensitivity in people. Discussion was ended with Jai Jagat song. 

Later in the afternoon Karuna Samwad was organised by Ektaparishad at Gandhi Bhawan, Bhopal with Anuradha Shankar, ADG Training MP Police and Dayaram Namdev Secretary of Gandhi Bhawan.

She discussed about the spritual life of Vinoba Bhave and how his ideas of love and empathy is much needed in today's time. She mentioned how Vinoba Bhave was a true successor of Mahatma Gandhi as his whole life is based on spirituality, empathy, love and how youth can follow his path of empathy and love in their life.
