Worldwide coronavirus cases cross 28.86 million, death toll at 920,194. The World Health Organisation reported a second single-day increase in global coronavirus cases.

More than 28.86 million people have been reported to be infected by the novel coronavirus globally and 920,194 have died. Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.

The World Health Organization reported a record one-day increase in global coronavirus cases on September 13, with the total rising by 3,07,930.

The biggest increases were from India, the United States and Brazil, deaths rose by 5,537 to a total of 9,17,417.

India's COVID-19 case tally crossed 47 lakh-mark with a spike of 94,372 new cases & 1,114 deaths.

The total case tally stands at 47,54,357 including 9,73,175 active cases, 37,02,596 cured/discharged/migrated & 78,586 deaths.

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported 6,467,481 cases of the coronavirus, an increase of 40,423 cases from its previous count, the number of deaths rose by 807 to 193,195.

New York reported 725 new coronavirus infections; NYC reported 37th straight day of infection rate below 1%.

The US state Georgia reported 1,409 new coronavirus cases, total cases stand at 294,314.

Texas reported 1,840 new coronavirus cases taking the total tally to 659,434.

French daily COVID-19 cases fall to 7,183 vs 10,561 on Sept 12

The United Kingdom reported 3,330 confirmed new daily cases of COVID-19 vs 3,497 a day earlier.

Scotland reported 244 new COVID-19 cases, the most since May 6.

England is due to bring in a new ban on social gatherings on September 12 in a bid to curb a rise in infections.

Iran’s confirmed COVID-19 cases exceed 4 lakh.

Russia reported 5,449 new coronavirus cases and 94 deaths.

Singapore reported 49 new cases of COVID-19 infection, eight of ten imported COVID-19 cases in Singapore came from India.

The Philippines reported 3,372 new coronavirus cases and 79 new deaths.

Indonesia reported 3,636 new coronavirus cases and 73 deaths.

Turkey’s coronavirus death toll exceeds 7,000.
