The card is headlined by a strawweight tilt between Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill. Originally, Thiago Santos vs. Glover Teixeira was set as the headliner, but Teixeira tested positive for COVID-19 and that matchup has been pushed back to October.
For Hill, she’s making history as the first African-American woman in a UFC main event. Waterson is in her third career UFC main event, going 1-1 in her previous two headlining appearances. Co-headlining the card are lightweights Ottman Azaitar and Khama Worthy. Azaitar had a spectacular KO in his UFC debut, while Worthy has followed a shocking upset win over Devonte Smith with a submission of Luis Pena.
