Rupal Patel aka Kokilaben Modi confirms being a part of 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2'

Rupal Patel will be reprising her role as Kokilaben Modi in the second season of the daily soap.

'Kokilaben rap' by Yashraj Mukhate has made people gaga over it. Soon after the video went viral, the makers of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya announced the second season of the show. The announcement was made via a short promo featuring Devoleena Bhattacharjee who will be reprising her role as Gopi Bahu. Now as per reports in BollywoodLife, Rupal Patel who played the role of Kokilaben will also be starring on the show again playing the iconic role.

Confirming the same, Rupal Patel stated to a tabloid, "There cannot be Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 without its Koki." Talking about how people love her character as a righteous woman, Patel went on to say, "Of course, I’m a lot more flexible and fun. But even today, young girls tell me that they want a mother-in-law like Koki."

Rupal went on to share about juggling between the two shows as she is also a part of Yeh Rishtey Hai Pyaar Ke. She said, "I couldn’t sleep the night I was approached for SNS 2 as I prefer doing one show at a time. But the channel, Rajan sir and Rashmi ma’am have assured me that we will figure out a way to ensure that everything proceeds smoothly." Rupal is quite confident that the second season will be a hit as well. "Krishna Bhagwan ki saugandh, if season 2 is not a superhit, mera naam bhi Kokila Modi nahin."

Meanwhile, Mohammad Nazim will also be marking his return in the second season. Whereas Sneha Jain and Harsh Nagar will be playing the lead roles.
